Holine for the Holidays

Methinks I need to chill out with the alliteration, but you mustttt check out Kiersten Holine and Jeff Pianki’s version of “The Christmas Song” (a Raveonettes cover). I love how their voices sound together.

Newfound Appreciations

Definitely one of the best movies I’ve seen all year. Brilliant performances from newcomer Gabourey Sidibe, Mo’Nique and Mariah Carey (trust me, a far cry from her Glitter fiasco).

Iona from Pretty In Pink
She’s eccentric, hilarious, and sassy…oh yeah and dresses like a crazy person. LOVE HER!

Shoulder pads

Jane Aldridge’s shoes
Not her biggest fan, but these shoes are TIGHT.

My red hair/freckles
Yeah, I stick out like a sore thumb in a sea of blondes. I’m cool with it.

I tend to be an extremely disorganized, scatterbrained kinda gal, so these little buggers really help a sister out

Obsessed. That is all.

A Hodgepodge of Goodness (Part Deux)

Here are some of my current inspirations/obsessions/whatevers.

1.) Otis Redding (of course I had to include Ducky’s infamous “Try a Little Tenderness” performance)

2.) King of Queens….random, I know, but I watched it over break and it is surprisingly hilarious! Oh, Kevin James.

3.) The world’s first underwater restaurant in the Maldives!!

4.) Zach Condon of Beirut

5.) These amazing tattoo tights!! (via Marissa Explains It All)

6.) Reading (in the middle of Vonnegut’s “God Bless You, Dr. Kevorkian”).

7.) This picture of Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain

Time for some homework!! Until next time!
